I have an assy drawing complete with baloons, and bill of materials. When I was adding balloons to parts that were behind other parts I clicked on the Multibody part and inadvertently selected hide body, instead of hide component. A body of the part is hidden and I cant find a way to unhide it. I went to the part and connected the bodies to make it a uni-body part, and back at the drawing it's hidden the whole thing. It shows up in the bom, but I cant get it to show back in the drawing view.

Can you help me remove the cloak of invisibility from my body?

In the Solid Bodies folder in the Feature Manager, can you not see the hidden body? If you can, just select it and click it and select Show.

Additionally, right-click on your drawing views and go to Properties. In there check out all the tabs, some are for hidden components. Though I believe only parts in an assembly go in there, it's worth checking.

Corey Blimey: -In the drawing/feature manager design tree under the parts there arent any solid body folders. Is there a setting to turn those on?

Devin DeSmet: -You win. That worked great. In the property tabls theres one for hidden BODIES, and they were able to turn back one.

Thanks both of you

Oh that's right, I think the hidden bodies one hasn't been around for to many releases.
As for the previous question go to: Tools > Options > FeatureManager then in the Hide/show tree items set Solid bodies to Show.

This thread is way old, but I always RMB on the assembly background and select 'show hidden bodies.'
