After the typhoon stress test some weak spots became apparent.
One of them is the second floor open terrace. The terrace is around 4x4 meters, on two sides walls and two sides open so one corner column, then high wall like 1m+ parapet which was made like that for safety because of children. On the top of the second floor there is a concrete slab (so it is over the terrace as well). The opening is arch design on the top, it is where to put fixed windows, below there will be openable windows.
The available options are windows made out of 1mm aluminum and long lasting hard wood, as it became apparent the aluminum doesn't hold against strong winds so the choice is the hard wood.
One side faces the sea, so for repair purposes it better to be made disassemblable.
The question is how to attach wooden frame to the concrete and what kind of sealant to use between the frame and the concrete.
The frame will be probably 2 inch thickness, wood maybe 2x4, so is it ok to use 4 inch wooden screws and plastic anchors into the concrete, the screws in pairs maybe every 10 inch like that:

Then to apply sealant.
I'm planning 3 or 4 pairs of narrow windows openable outside since it adds wind resistance and screen inside.
