Attribute prompt doesn't show when inserting

Hi,
I have a block with attributes that I use for room name and number when drawing architectural plans. Usually I insert the block, and I get prompted to enter the name, number, etc. in the command line. There are 3 attributes.
All of the sudden, when I insert this block into drawings, nothing happens. I have to click on the block after its inserted to have the dialog box come up, and then I enter the info.
I must have tripped a system variable. Does anyone know what setting to change so the dialog box (or command line promts) are enabled when I first insert the block?
