Hi.
I'm Xeros.

Materials (ASS) selection for valve was done using NACE MR0175/ISO15156 part 3.
I think that materials was selected using table A.2 and A.3.

However, I have two(2) questions as follows;

1. I want to use SS 316 for valve stem materials.
however, only S20910 must be used for valve stem material as per table A.3?

2. what kind of table are used for select "valve trim materials"? Table A.2 or A.3?

Best regards,

1. Not necessarily. Table A.2 covers any component so you are free to use that.

2. Don't really follow your question. One would normally determine what materials are required for the mechanical and hydraulic duty and then perform a check to see whether they are addressed by ISO 15156. Theoretically, the materials could come from almost any part of ISO 15156 Part 2 or Part 3.
