I work for a window design company and would like to be able to make a "block" program in CAD. So that when I plug the information in I will get a rendering of my measurements. I have templates for our layouts and wanted to try and incorporate that into the drawings themselves.

I'm not entirely sure if block is the right terminology for this particular sequence. Does anyone know if you could make a template like this for a drawing? Anything you guys add would be great.

I am a bit confused as to what you are trying to do.
What do you mean " Som that when I plug the information in...." and "rendering my measurements." As far as I know you only render the drawn objects and background.
As far as the templates, I am assuming that you are referring to titleblocks which are supposed to be in the layouts and so I am perplexed as to what you mean "...drawing themselves."

I'm sorry I wasn't as clear as I'd hoped. I want to be able to set up macros for CAD more or less. I want to be able to type in the frame size of a window and have a window automatically selected and then be able to add more to the drawing by selecting different options and accessories.

I don't want the windows to "draw themselves" I want to have a database of drawings that it will automatically pull from, and this template/block will just compile all the selections into one drawing.
