Just got my brand new DesignJet 430. Looks nice sitting here in my office. That's just it, will not load the driver. I get a warning "this driver not digitally signed".
What's up with that?
This should be plug and play for the most part. Instead of the 430(D/A1) choice you'd think works, I tried the HP-GL/2 and got one 'D'size print, but nothing more. I have re-loaded this disc many times and the result is theoretically no driver on the system.
The plotter IS turned on and I have ACAD2000 & Windows XP. I have my cable hooked direct to the CPU. Pretty basic stuff but no hard copy. Get another warning, better stop right now "Software has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. Yet the run CD says it works with these systems just fine.
Also, in ACAD 2000, under PLOT, Plot Device, Plot configuration....carrot down selection, how do you remove duplicates from here? They have loaded up because I have tried many times to get this thing to take a driver.
I've run into a wall at this point. Can anyone offer some guidance here? It would be a big help right about now.
As I'm staring at the BIGGEST paperweight I care to own!
