I just upgraded to Autocad 2005 and opened one of my Drawings (3D)...I can't work on this drawing though because ACAD is so slow (If I want to zoom, it takes for ever).
The strange thing is when I unplug my network cable, it runs smoothly..
I have a standalone installation so I don't know what can be happening. And I can't work off the network..
Did anyone have the same problem?

Is the drawing on a network drive?
When have you unplugged from the network - before or during boot-up or after you have opened the drawing, etc?

What is your ISAVEPERCENT set to? Try zero.

Do you have full-time CRC validationon? Try it off.

Try turning automatic save off.

Try not maintaining a log file.

All of these are on the Open and Save tab of your Options dialog.

Have a look at your Layer Filters (delete them if not needed).
