when I set up 2007 in my windows7 machine I get a compatibility problem and the software wont run. Windows 7 does report a compatibility solution available.

Any patch or a simple way around that, cant find much from the web

Have you tried AUGI or the Autodesk forums?

Thanks francesca
in that thread there are great issues except autocad.

I have tried using administrator mode option available on the autocad2007 icon. Works fine but declares my autocad limited term (60days)

Will try AUGI though I dont really know what that is. Will do some googling

Well, that thread pointed out that you need Windows7 Pro and that your hardware needs to be capable of virtualization. If either of those are a no, you're out of luck.
