Hello,

I'm having problems with my viewports in paperspace. When I create a view & then set the shadeplot to "Hidden" & then later create another viewport, autocad likes to RESET all my viewports to "As displayed" then I have to go and change them all to hidden before I plot drawing....

It's probably something small that I'm missing here, but any help would be great!!

Thx. in advance

Lee

In our company we have a specific layer assigned to viewports. This layer is always visible but set to "no plot" under the layer properties manager. That gives you the flexability of manipulating the viewport with the ease of plotting (without extra work to turn it off).

Have you tried Locking the ViewPort?

Yes, I've tried locking the viewport.. it still likes to change things...?

Type in _-vports, in your command line type in "s" for shadeplot then type "H" for hidden, this will override your default of "As Displayed"

Hi,

did you install the Service Packs? 2009 had a lot of errors relating to the viewports.

Did you insert images?
