Autocad blocks with dimensions to Solidworks blocks 1

I have a large library of Autocad drawings of port cavities with dimensions that we insert into Autocad drawings as views and our hole callouts reference these views for machining dimensions. When I try to turn these into Solidworks blocks everything in the drawing EXCEPT the dimensions converts to a block. If I try to cut and paste the drawing from Autocad to Solidworks it crashes. Any ideas on how to overcome this. I do not want to have to re-dimension all of these cavities.

You can do this if you explode the text. When I tried it, the arrow heads came in open and not as solids.
