Our group has 15 copies of ACLT 2006 and no subscription with Autodesk. They are too old to get the reduced price upgrade so we would have to buy 15 new copies. I use ACLT about 4 times per month and am the heaviest user. The other 14 people use it once every 2 months.

Does Autodesk have an option where we could have a Network License Manager for 2 or 3 seats of concurrent use? We rarely have more than one person using ACLT at one time so 2 or 3 seats would work fine. I think the full AutoCAD version has a NLM but we don't need all the power of the full version.

Call your reseller. Just don't mention how many seats you currently have.

2 or 3 seats of full AutoCAD on a network license may be cheaper than 15 copies of ACadLt.

Yes, I agree but we rarely need the power of full AutoCAD and don't want to pay the price. Ideally, Autodesk would sell a 3 NLM copy of ACLT2011 for $3750 that we could install on 15 computers and only have 3 concurrent users.

They have the technology to implement NLM and should be able to port it to LT. We bought the 15 copies of ACLT rev 1 for $495 each way back and have updated a few times and just stuck on LT2006.
