Hi, my question is more towards Autodesk Civil 3D and Storm and Sanitary Analysis which is also included. Do bear with the long post :)

We are currently trying to model a large sewer network with potentially thousands of incoming sewer flows. Previously the generation of plan and profile drawings was done manually which is tedious and prone to mistakes. Thus, now we are trying out the "pipe network function" in civil3d which can auto generates the plan and profile after the model has been built. Currently, our proposed sewer alignment only consists of polylines.

Looking at the available functions Autodesk Civil3D, the following observations were made:

1. The whole sewer network which consists of branches, "sub-branches" and "sub-sub-branches..." will have to be modelled branch by branch as the function "Create Pipe Network by Object" can only select individual polylines. Is there a way faster way to convert all the polylines and into a pipe network?

2. We have a few sizes of proposed sewer manholes and pipes. Is there a way to select or mass "swap part" in civil3d rather than clicking 1 by 1 and swapping the parts in civil 3d?

3. For the Storm and Sanitary Analysis, due to the large amount of incoming flows, the edit junction windows requires us to input the incoming flows individually for each manhole. Is there a workaround for this?

Due to the size of this network, an more automated way of inputting and managing data is preferred. We are also looking into using other softwares eg. SewerCAD from Bentley for alternatives.
Any suggestion or advice on this matter is very much appreciated.
