I am currently doing a project at university and am trying to do a matlab simulation of periodic rotor blade twisting on an autogyro. I have my matlab program using Xfoil to find lift drag and pitching coefficients. I need a way of using this data and the geometry to calculate the blade twist as it rotates.

Any help would be massively appreciated there is very little work on autogyros from the last 70 years a lot of the stuff I have found is hard or impossible to implement with the variables I have.

Thank You

If you have a beam of torsional stiffness X, how much does it twist when subject to the ditributed froces F at a position y mm from the leading edge, and a moment M?

Cheers

You want to look into the NACA reports by Wheatley, particularly NACA report 487.
