Hi,
Does anyone know of a manufacturer of a small automated abrasive cut-off saw? I am looking to cut .5"x.5" bars (plastic) into small sections. I will be using a linear servo to position the part and am hoping to find a commercially available saw with an automated cutting motion. All I currently am finding is large industrial units with 12 or 16 inch blades. I am hoping to find more of a lab style with an 8 or even 6 inch blade.

Any one know of anything currently being manufactured?

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Big machine tools in decent shape can do the same jobs as small ones. The inverse is not true. Just buy the smallest, or least big, saw that does what you want, and be happy.
