Automatic export of alternative format file on exit in NX3?

I would like to set up some kind of macro or function where a "neutral" file format (like JT or STEP) of the current part or assembly would be exported automatically when a user exits Unigraphics NX3. Is such a thing possible and if so can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

JT files can be automatically saved by setting the save option "Save Teamcenter Vis Data" (in NX3). Step would be a little more complicated to automate, since it would require a custom user exit tool. There are people who read this group that can fill you in from here.
