Hello,

I am fairly new to EPANET. I'm currently modeling a distribution system and want to find out how I can model an automatic flush valve in order for the pressure to go down. Currently the pressure is around the high 80s, low 90s. Also, I want to know the best way to distribute chlorine. It is taking almost half a day for chlorine to reach the middle section of the system. Thanks.

Set up a demand category for flushing with the nodes to be flushed
on the pattern editor, put in zero for any time the flush is off and 1 for anytime the flush in on

On Chlorine The model assumes at time zero there is no chlorine in the system, so with it showing up in a half a day seams about right for a smaller system
