I am curently running several automatic gear lubrication systems to provide grease to a gear system on a SAG mill and a BAll mill in a nickel concentrator where there is a lot of air bourne contaminants. My current grease system is giving me all kinds of grease faults. Can anyone recomend a certain type or manufacturer that would be most sutiable for this type of enviroment?

If you are talking about the open gears here are a couple of sources of very good information and products.

We used products from both Pentron and CC Oil. Pentron products cover nearly everything in the mining industry. The article from Phillips is very good in that it gives you an overall look at whats generally available for open gears. The Phillips site had other very good papers concerning kiln/mill information. The CC oil site also has several articles that cover kiln/mill operations
