I need to drain two rectangular shaped tanks (batchs Nº1 and Nº2). See schematic drawing attached
Volume of Batch Nº 1: 520 lts – Fluid: 15% Sulfuric Acid in water
Volume of Batch Nº 2: 215 lts – Fluid: Water contaminated with liquid from Batch Nº 1 dragged by a running wire between tanks
I will install 3 Anti-acid Magnetic Drive Pumps. 2 for Batch 1 and one for batch 2
I want the pumps to automatic stop when each batch is empty
I was thinking in some kind of sensor at the suction pipes that sense the absence of fluid inside the pipe and stop the pump
Pipe material: PVC
Suction Pipe size: 2”
Is there a sensor that will work for this?
Any suggestions?
