automatic update drawing views

Hi all,

I've set all drawing views to automatically update in the customer defaults and I've restarted.

Now when I open a draft the views don't automatically update. Can I change this behavior of is this a property of the already created draft?

Yes, it is a part setting that you will need to change: preferences -> drafting -> view -> common -> general -> workflow -> automatic update.

For all the Drawings you have created before you changed the setting in the Customer Defaults.
Be aware that that particular setting might already be stored in your Drawing Template. If that is the case then it should be removed from there. (if the rest of the users agree of course)

Building new PLM environment from Scratch using NX11 / TC11

In other words, changing this setting in Customer Defaults has NO EFFECT on existing files, only newly created files that do NOT use a template or start part.
