Hi,
in NX7, after assign the material, it's possible to auto-compile the weight attribute without the measure body solution ?

Thank you

You will have access to a rather limited use of a 'Mass' attribute for the Parts List, but that will be about it. If you're looking for something which can be used like a normal attribute, you'll have to use the Measure Body function and capture that as an Attribute value.

Attached is an NX 6.0 example Part file and Drawing which uses an attribute to capture the weight of a body and then display as a note in a Drawing. It should help you to see how it can be done using the tools currently available in NX.

Hi John,
this is the only solution ?
Measure body must be always at the end of my feature.
So if I add feature, I need always to move to end.
I see that you use a 'set' variable, exist something else to recover the weight value, because in the 'Assembly Navigator' this column exit and has the correct value.
