Im post processing in NX4 using postbuilder. You get the NC output coming up in a window similar to wordpad which gives you the opportunity to save the file....but is there anyway to by-pass this and for the file to get saved somewhere immediately from postbuilder?
....and also can you remover the information header at the top of thefile which lists who created the file, the date, current part and node name??

thanks in advance.

noviceUGman,

When you select Postprocess in UG there is a browse option under output where you can specify the output path. Otherwise it creates an output file in the same folder as the .prt file. The data that is presented in the listing window is only for review. The output from the post does not have the header info in it. Take a look in the folder wher the .prt is located and you should seee a .ptp file
