Hey there

I've got a session with 30+ models passively loaded in.

This is to create a GA.

I'm looking to filter some of the parts using AUXVIEW2-Filter. But have no idea how it works.

Any helpful info would be most helpful.

Regards

Rory

Recommended for you

1. Activate correct view

2. AUXVIEW2-USE-ACTIONS-FILTER

3. PROCESS toolbox appears. There are fiter tools. Only the filters that you can apply to current view are active.
There are three basic filter tools
- selected element won't be projected
- selected element won't be sectionded (only available in section views)
- selected element's hidden lines are removed
reversal actions are available after you have applied a basic filter.

Select filter that you want to use.

4. Select 3d (or 2d) elements that you want to filter.
I think selecting from 3D session is easier. Selected (3d) elements are shown on green color.

You may want to set AUXVIEW2-DEFAULT-UPDATE to MANUAL before filtering. Otherwise view is updated after every selected element and makes filtering process very slow.
