Has anyone heard of a users group/forum/tech tips sight for AVL dynamometers?
At work, we typically face trouble with our dynos and have to wait days for the tech support group from AVL to lend a hand, which is also expensive.

Any info is great appreciated.

Thanks,

Dean

Jens,

Thank you for your reply. Please search your database for help requests for Polaris Industries. You should see one on January 6th for the problem we are experiencing.

Thanks,

Dean

AVL looks like a quality product. What is the power absorbing unit? A separate resistance bank?

Thanks

Dean,

your issue is recorded in our database and currently in work in cooperation with members of your team and my US colleagues. To ensure complete satisfaction I suggest that our responsible manager in the US contacts Polaris.
Unless other notification we will use the contact person at Polaris as recorded in our database.

Please let me know if you have additional comments or ideas.

Best regards
Jens

Jens - thank you very much.

Dicer - AVL is indeed a quality product. We have several AC Motoring Dyno's, for engine based testing. It doesn't have a separate resistance bank that I know of. You might contact a salesman to get that detail.
