Avoiding SMARTEAM checkout of unchanged parts

Hi all

I have serveral CATParts built from sketches imported from a "master" CATpart.

The structure is like this, although you have to think in complex structures with at least 100 sketches and around 50 parts. This is only a small sample.

Master_Part
|
|- Sketch 1 --(import w/link)--> Part_1
|
|- Sketch 2 --(import w/link)--> Part_2

If I change Sketch_1, only Part_1 will be affected. However, as Master_Part has changed, Smarteam forces to check out Part_1 and Part_2, even when Part_2 has not changed (CATIA won´t ask to update it anyway)

I would like to find a way to avoid unchanged parts being checked out, so tracking actually changed parts in complex designs is possible.

Any idea?
