Hi,

Working in Pro-Engineer Mechanica.
Trying to constrain movement of a surface in a negative axial direction and allow freedom of movement in the positive direction. Any comments on how this is controlled?

I don't think this is the purpose of the "Prescribed Displacement" control in the Constraint Dialog. If it can be achieved with this by using a range, I can't figure out the syntax for allowing a positive range of movement.

Thank you.

Try to figure out how to write a function for that constraint, in the same window you are talking about near the "Prescribed Displacement" you will find a choice of adding a function. For me I couldn't do it when I tried recently.

Regards
