B31.1 X-ray requirements

My question comes from the table 136.4 of ASME B31.1, under the heading for x-ray requirements “Temperatures between 350f and 750f inclusive with all pressures over 1025, does this imply All temperatures with a pressure over 1025 will x-ray ‘providing the requirements are met” or only temperatures between 350f and 750f with pressures over 1025? Example, a 10” 1.250 wall pipe with a 200f service @ 2000 psi will this need x-ray.

It means that for pressures over 1025 psig, piping operating between 350 and 750 deg F.

That’s how I have understood it for the past 11 years, but on this job we seam to have changed the code??

Just remember the temperature is based upon Design T not Operating T.
In your case: 10" NPS, "DESIGN" Conditions of 200F @ 2000 PSI

These welds would not require radiography per the B31.1 requirements. Customer spec's may require RT though.

If I were the customer then there would be some percentage of the welds that would Radiographed.
