DOES B31.3 ADDRESS THE ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION OF LEAKAGE AT THREADED AND/OR BOLTED UP CONNECTIONS WHETHER THEY ARE TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT CONNECTIONS DURING A HYDROSTATIC TEST?

IF SO, WHAT PARAGRAPH ADDRESSES THE ABOVE QUESTION?
THE SYSTEM BEING TESTED IS NORMAL SERVICE

THANKS

In accordance with the 2004 Edition of B31.3. Paragraph 345.1 thru 345.4 the concept is leak tightness of the assembled piping system regardless of welds or threaded fittings. All joints are specifically referenced in Paragraph 345.3.1 Preparation for Leak Test.
