Hi,

I need some advice on how to prepare all the customizations in the SW 2012 installation for backup because the old comp is going out and the new one with the new OS is coming to my desk. I need to, or at least, I would like to preserve all the custom settings in my current SW installation and restore them on the new comp. I'm clear with the weldment profiles and technical drawing sheet templates (I know where these files are located and how to preserve them), not sure about the other settings I have changed from the original defaults... I'd like to save some time if that is possible. Is it possible at all? (creating some sort of backup file from which I can simply restore the customized settings of my current SW installation. The new comp will have somewhat different hardware, but the same OS (Win7) and most of the applications will be the same. The Win comes preinstalled so, I can't do the simplest windows supported cloning of the hard drive content. Any suggestion can help. Thanks.
