After a crash, I went to my temorary folder looking for the most recent backup.Nothing for today was in there, the most recent file was from yesterday evening. This prompted me to check my systemsettings for backups. I have it set to save 3 copies per document, but the box where you would normaly select the number of changes to save auto recovery info is greyed out and set to zero? Has anyone experienced this before, and if so how do I reset my backup settings without redoing all of my system settings.

In Tools > System Options > Backups, do you have the Save auto recover info every switch checked? The "changes" box will remain greyed out till it is checked.

CorBlimeyLimey;

Both boxes were greyed out. I did fix it though thank you. I opened Solidworks with out opening any documents, then set my backup options works fine now ( for now)
