I'm currently working on a budgeted pipe project 24" aluminium pipe. The pipe is buried under a golf course in what looks like an old swamp 1000' long installed in 1972. The places we are repairing have been repaired before with car hoods street signs and so on. We are going back with 24" cmp, the older pipe has teeth holes from equipment and allowing the water to come to my joint where i need to seal. I need to seal the joint with something that works in water.

I noticed noone had responded to your inquiry. I guess it might be possible to put some kind of inner seal, packer or boot on the joints/leaks, but might be a challenge to work on corrugations and by the time you buy these and/or pay to install the overall cost might approach or exceed what you would pay for stronger pipe/joints.

There are a number of pipe lining companies - Insituform comes to mind.

Would that work??

Thanks, today we poured half head walls around the pipe and used joint mastic. Thanks for the inquires, and to had been more cost efficient I would have built a catch basin(HINDSIGHT). Thanks again.
