We have ball studs listed on many of our drawings with the manufacturer listed as Eaton. These are the Tinnerman type of fasteners with Tinnerman Palnut supplying the various "nuts" which are sockets for the balls to snap in and out of. Tinnerman Palnut does not manufacturer the studs themselves, however, just the nuts.
Searching on Eaton indicates the the manufacturing of the ball studs has been "Divested". Example part numbers include P101-499 and P116-447-6-495. If anybody has any idea who manufacturers these things, your help would be appreciated. Alternatively, something in the way of a standard would also be useful.
Thx,
YoungTurk
