BBJT,
What do you think about sending in the “Balloon and note move together” tip to SOLID Digital Digest [soliddigitaldigest@solidmag.com]? I am asking because it is mostly your idea. See WEB site:
This is how I have written it up:
“Balloon and note move together”
Insert stacked balloon twice, to get two balloons. Click on second balloon, change style: to Underline, Change Size: to Tight Fit, Change Balloon text: , to Custom, in the box below Custom change to your text, e.g. 12 REQD. Now click More Properties… You see Border at the bottom? Change Underline to None. After you get the note into place, and you want a second line of text. Double click on the note. You will be able to edit the note in regular text format. Spaces will be required to align text with balloon. Once you have done this a couple of times, pushing the buttons is really easy.
This only works with a one-item balloon, but it is a start.

Sounds like a good idea to me. But like I said in the other post you can omit the change style: to Underline for the fact that you are setting it to none under the More Properties. BBJT CSWP

Don't hold your breath for that free T-shirt they advertise. I still haven't received mine. [sadeyes] "The attempt and not the deed confounds us."

MadMango,
I must be doing something right. I got the free T-shirt long time ago. Then I sent in another tip and they sent me a free cap. I do not put in the tips for free stuff; I do it to help fellow SolidWorks users become the best they can be. Bradley

BBJT,
The Managing Editor at SOLID Solutions magazine, Solid Digital Digest said "We don't generally do reprints of tips that already have appeared elsewhere." Which means here on Bradley

That seems strange to me. Maybe they are worried about somebody turning in someone else’s tip and getting the credit for it. Did you tell them that it was generated here in this forum? Maybe if you told them to put it in as anonymous they would print it. If not it is there loss.

I personally have stop subscribing to their magazine because it is to expensive for the basic info and all the advertising that you get. I do get the online info though.

BBJT,
I have now. We will just have to wait and see what happens now.
Thanks for your moral support. Bradley
