Is there any way to set the 2X next to the balloon to be tied to the actual qty in the partslist? So when the partslist updates so does the qty next to the balloon.

This seems like double dimensioning to me but it's our standard.

We use a split balloon and put the quantity attribute in the bottom section. I'd have to look how to set it up, we did it many years ago. Don't know if that will satisfy the standards but it's one way to do it.

I've been trying to find that qty attribute in the notes relationships without success. Where can I find it?

I don't know how to place it outside the balloon, but inside is
1) very simple ( over/under display mode)
Select the parts list, RMB - Settings, select "Parts list" ( left pane) and then in the right pane : Callout : Main symbol text = Callout and Quantity

2) quite simple once one knows the trick (before/after mode)
Select the parts list, RMB - Settings, select "Parts list" ( left pane) and then in the right pane : Callout : Main symbol text = Custom
In the custom text field paste this without quotation "$~C $~Q X"
"Dollar tilde C" = Callout
"Dollar tilde Q" = Quantity

But, as said , this will not place the quantity outside the balloon.

Thx guys.... I'm still not successful applying it to our standard but I should be able to grab that attribute somehow... I'll work on it.

Please keep us posted if you do come up with a solution.
Maybe call GTAC and they can give you some guidance.
