A few quick questions on the 2006 Bangladesh Building Code (BNBC)
Does anyone know if Fig 6.2.10 Seismic Zoning Map of Bangladesh (Z Factor) is a 20%in50yr map, a 10%in50yr map or a 2%in50yr map? Reading section 2.5.7.1 it looks like it could be a 20%in50yrs (or is this a mistake and should be 2%in50yrs). i.e. What is the MCE for Fig 6.2.10?
Looking at the 2012/2014 BNBC the map (Fig 2.5.1) shows a 2%in50yr as MCE.
Also, is the 2012 or 2014 BNBC a Draft Building Code or is it officially a legal document?
