When you design a Barrage, you go through the normal steps. Define your loads, define your layout, choose an analysis approach, verify that your members are adequate for the loads, etc.
Oh yeah, what's a barrage? Isn't that where the enemy shoots artillery at you for a long time?

Chicopee, I wanted to model the components of a barrage in software tools and the barrage can be any barrage. If you have construction details of barrages in the Columbia river within the State of Oregon (USA). That will also be helpful. Thanks

designing any sort of dam is a large undertaking with many different issues to address. I'm sure you must know some of this, so it would help if you indicated which area you are interested in. For example, to name a few:

[ul]
[li]hydrology[/li]
[li]hydraulics[/li]
[li]scour[/li]
[li]sedimentation[/li]
[li]structural[/li]
[li]foundation[/li]
[li]seepage[/li]
[li]settlement[/li]
[li]constructability[/li]
[/ul]
