Here's my problem. When I start Acad, the base menu doesn't automatically load. I use 'Menuload' to load them manually. After I'm done with my sessions, shutdown Acad, and start again the next time the base menu still doesn't load automatically. The following is what I get at start up:

Regenerating model.

AutoDWG PDFImport command list:
'PDFIN' Import a PDF file to AutoCAD.
'PDF2DWG' Convert each pdf's page to a dwg file.
'PdfInMenu' Load AutoDWG PDFImport's menu to AutoCADACAD.RX Error: Unable to
find file "swfileconv.arx"
menuunload
Enter the name of a MENUGROUP to unload:pcmold
Menu unloaded successfully. MENUGROUP: pcmold
menuload
Enter name of menu file to load: pcmold
Menu loaded successfully. MENUGROUP: PCMOLD
*Cancel*

Enter name of menu file to load:
Command: Specify opposite corner:
Command:
Automatic save to C:\CAD\ACAD - TEMP\Drawing1_1_1_0315.sv$ ...

I noticed that this started after I defragged the hard drive yesterday.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Your startup routine looks like it has a pcmold menu overwriting your menus. Look for an acad.lsp or acaddoc.lsp and see if there is a ref to pcmold menuload. These need to be commented out. You can load these menus after startup instead of during. An acad.rx file could be loading these also and may be worth looking at also. If the previous does not work.
