Currently in my plant I have over a 1000 measuring tools on a strict calibration and repair schedule. 4 of those tools are Micro Vu Vector V-260 that use a Q-16 DRO for X,Y and some basic functions (radius, angles, etc). I am looking for a "new" one for the floor. I just dont know if there are any other systems that people have used. I am not really looking for the newer style that run on a computer and software. I want a vision system that uses a Digital Read-Out at a good price.
If you aren't familiar with the Micro Vu systems, it uses a camera and lighting to display the part being measured on a monitor. You then use your DRO to do simple measurements, like those listed above.
My question is: any idea were to find a used Micro Vu Vector? and are there any competitors with similar product? I am not willing to pay 12k-15k for the newer style when my requirements are low enough in that area of the plant.
