This "metal cook" is looking for some information on the British Cast Iron Research Association (BCIRA). This group looks to have done some killer research on gray and ductile iron, but they seem to have disappeared. There are some small remnants online, but they seem to end abruptly and any information on the group itself does not seem to exist. Do these guys/gals still operate? Different name maybe? I have been in the cast iron industry in the US for about 3.5 years, but I can only find a few articles from some of the archives (either PDF or hard copy). Are the BCIRA Braodsheets still available? If anyone has some information on either the Broadsheets or the history of this group, please share! Thanks a bunch!

brimstoner, does this website have BCIRA information? I see there is a fee with viewing articles and I would like to make sure it has some relevant info before paying. Are you looking for this information as well?

I have some of these broad sheets, please let me know. BCIRA was in the forefront of developing cast iron and Ductile Iron metallurgy. I lost a few good friends (no internet era, only H.Ms Post), whose work I learnt and admired. There was always this rivalry across the pond and it was enjoyable reading those exchanges.
