Hi. I'm intending to get a welded aluminium assembly bead blasted to remove blemishes and give a satin finish.

I understand glass beads are best for aluminium. I'm looking for a 'fine smooth finish'. Can anyone recommend a typical bead size to achieve this? Or, I can specify a surface roughness range and let the machine shop choose the bead size.

I also want to ensure that the blasted surfaces do not easily show fingerprints. What should I specify on the drawing to ensure it's treated to prevent this?

Thanks
