hi everyone. I'm currently doing a structural investigation of a 20-storey building, after the analysis I found some beams to be colored red. Looking at it, It says like that the beam's shear stress due to shear and torsion exceeds maximum allowed.

my question is, does red-colored beam in etabs makes it failed already? someone told me before that as long as etabs was able to provide the required area of rebars it is ok. thanks!

I am guessing that you are exceeding the maximum Shear stress/force allowable by your selected concrete code. You need a larger section to satisfy this check. Otherwise check the section by hand to confirm this rather than solely relying on the build in design modules.
