Hi!
I am junior engineer and I try design beam using unequal angle according AISC. In chapter F, "Beams and other flexural members" of the standard noted that: "This chapter applies to singly or doubly symmetric beams" and unequal angle is not singly or doubly symmetric beam.

My questions are:
-According which chapter of the AISC should I design angle beam?
-Where could I find some design example? Could someone send me design example of such beams?

Thank you very much,
Regards,
Jav

AISC Engineering Journal First Quater 1984 has an article "Safe Load for Laterally Unsupported Angles".
It has theory and tables for Fy=36ksi and Fy=52ksi.
You may get this article on go to ePubs and then Engineering Jurnal and search for this article.
AICS has a fee, but you get good info for it.
Good luck.

whymrg's reference is a good one. If you want to do it the hard way, you can always use the single angle member specification (p. 309 in ASD 9th ed., p. 16.3-1 in LRFD 3rd ed.).
