hi, i'm working on modelling a wind turbine blade. I have loads derived from wind turbine simulation software which utilises a beam element model of the blade. This is in the form of a time history of the axial force, torsion moment, and a 2 bending moment and shear forces. I have built a full composite shell element model of the blade up and now want to apply the loads from the beam element model to the full model. i know in abaqus it is possible to tie nodes together and then apply forces to a central node, can i do something similar in ansys? Also, can anyone recommend a good tutorial site for ansys?

Thanks,

Pete
