There used to be a great 2D beam analysis program called Beam for Windows by a company called Dymak. I cant find anything about either of them in the search engines.

Does anyone know what became of it and who sells it now?

Thanks
Steve

Try colincaprini.com for an alternative beam program

There all kinds of beam programs out there. I like BeamChek ( spelling is correct) for residential and light industrial work. Cheap at about $150 a copy!!

I'm an IT guy for Structural Engineering company.

Beam32 no longer supported and I need to set up a new server.

We have Multiframe / Microstran / SpaceGass all of which can do beam analysis, but for single beams in a house or small buildings, Beam32 is much quicker, because of its simplicity.

Engineers currently trialing BeamChek mentioned in this thread. colincaprini.com does NOT load.

Any other really simple beam analysis programs out there that I can try?
