hi all,
Solving beams reinforcement with etabs and safe gives me two different reinforcement area. if I export the drawing to the safe (with same load-case) and run the analysis the beam reinforcements becomes less or more from etabs but never the exact value which has been found in etabs. What could be the reason of this as I'm sure that I've meshed slabs properly to transfer slab loads correctly. I'm using the Etabs v9.1.4 and ACI 318-99 code, in SAfe v8.0.8 and Code ACI.
Actually I'm not much familiar with ACI codes(as there is not an alternative for the turkish code), it made me think that two codes are not consistent with each other or reason could be that I'm using the older version one of two codes or both, I couldn't figure out, so far .
any idea?
