Hi folks,
I am just trying to assess a calculation for a vertical support foot on a shell and tube heat exchanger. The stress by design calculations were performed using the Bednar method.
Unfortunately, the Bednar pressure vessel design book has gone missing in our office and I cannot check the nomenclature of the calculation with the mechanical design drawing for the support feet.
Would anyone be able to supply me with a picture of the foot in Bednars book or possibly direct me to a website where I might find the same.
