Im new to industy i work for a consulting company, ive had a short training basically doing pdoctors and moisture contents at lab , now im in the field as a technician im in this situation where a contractor is making big trench to put concrete pipes amd headwalls to cross water coming from a river . Execvation was made all way to reach hard and firm groud and stone was poured in top of geotextile fabric ( cloth ) and between each pipes i suggested to be wrapped with non woven fabric . And had them backfill with structural fill .
What are the things i should be looking for when dealing with such situation from soil testing to taking measurements all way to when reaching road subggrade and installing riprap . The thing its my first time and i do not want to miss important details
