Belt/Chain Length Properties 3

Hey all, I am just starting to take advantage of the Belt/Chain feature in SW (which is awesome), but I have a question about how to automatically put the length of the chain in my BOM for whatever I am designing. When I make the Chain, I select the "Create Chain Part" feature, which basically makes a separate file so that when I build the BOM, it gets thrown in there. Now what I usually do is open that part (which consists only of a derived sketch of the chain), and adjust the properties of the document so that the BOM calls the correct part number we use for the specific chain that I will be using.

This is my question: Is there any way to link the Length property with the total length of the chain?

I can measure the total length using the measure tool and manually put in the length, but I would like the length to dynamically update every time the length of the chain changes.

I cant put dimensions on the sketch in the chain file because it is a derived sketch, but even if I put dimensions on the original sketch (which I do not know where/how the chain feature creates it), how would you dimension arc length?

I tried searching Belt/Chain Feature on the forums, but found nothing, so sorry if this has already been solved.

** Wow, well right after I posted this, I started messing around with trying to get the length, and I noticed that there was already a property called "belt length" that already dynamically updates. So I just copy/past into the Length property.

Sorry for answering my own post, should have looked harder, but took about an hour to figure it out, and all I had to do was be more observant, lol

Thanks anyway!
