Dear Engineers and expert

I'm conducting a feasibility study for replacing the classical wheeled/truck hauling system with a conveyor belt.

I have to find a reliable value for all Belt Conveyor O&M activities [operation and maintenance ]

1- Energy (Electricity ) as Kwh/Mt/Km kilowatt hour per metric ton per Kilometer distance
2- Provisional cost rate for belt replacement
3- idler repair and replacement cost.
4- belt Cleaning
5- Pully Major bearing preventive maintenance and replacement.
6- Pully repair.
7- Provisional cost rate for Ele. Motor replacement

Appreciate your support.

Item 1 - electricity cost - is going to be dependent on the size of the motor driver(s) and the length of the conveyor run. A longer run is going to use more energy. A flat horizontal run will use less energy than one that has to go uphill, but more than one that goes downhill.

Items 2 thru 6 - this information is going to be significantly dependent on the conveyor supplier's design. Research the ones you want to use.

Item 7 - this is best researched by talking to your local (electric motor) repair facilities.
