Hi all. I was wandering if anyone can explain or recommend a useful url regarding my question. I am trying to find info on how jammed (seized) trough or return idlers affect the performance of the belt conveyor.

I suggest you review technical literature from NIBA (Belting Industry Association) and/or from major rubber belting companies that discuss belt tracking issues.
