Hi.
I am modelling a trapezoidal toothed belt and pulley system for linear positioners and I need some help in the Actuation Input. I apply an Actuation motion to the system which accelerates the system and then comes to a stop at the end of the stroke. After the simulation, the value of the torque is higher then the practical torque for the given actuation motion profile. Do anyone has any idea how can we reduce the actuation torque for the given actuation motion or how ADAMS Machinery calculates the actuation torque based on the Actuation motion.
Thanks.
